REV23 Account
A REV23 Account is your central sign-in for REV23 apps and services, similar to a Microsoft, Google, or Apple account. It’s identified by your email address, it’s required to create a Cloud, and the subscription owner signs in with it. Any team member can link one too — it isn’t limited to owners or artists.
A Studio Account is the other way in: a username and password stored in one Cloud, valid for that Cloud only.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”The sign-in page offers both paths: Sign in with REV23 Account, and the Studio Account username and password fields for that specific Cloud.
Linking a REV23 Account to a studio user
Section titled “Linking a REV23 Account to a studio user”A REV23 Account attaches to an existing studio user by email — there is no manual linking step:
- Your user in the Cloud must already exist, created by the owner or a manager.
- The email on that user must match your REV23 Account’s verified email.
- The first time you choose Sign in with REV23 Account, the accounts link automatically.
A REV23 Account alone gets you into nothing — if no user with a matching email exists in the Cloud, sign-in is refused. If the emails don’t match, ask the owner to correct the email on your user.
Once linked, your REV23 Account is all you need. A studio password can be kept alongside as a second way in, or removed — see Account security.
Guest artists and multiple Clouds
Section titled “Guest artists and multiple Clouds”Each Cloud you link to appears in your REV23 Account’s Cloud picker — this is how a guest artist works two shops with one sign-in. In the app, Switch Cloud in the account menu moves between them without re-entering credentials; it appears when your account belongs to more than one Cloud. See Switching studios.
