Receipts
Every completed sale has a receipt in three deliveries: emailed to the customer, printed at the counter, and a public link the customer can open anytime.
A completed sale emails its receipt to the customer automatically — items with artists, per-line discounts and surcharges, tax, tip, payments with card details, and your studio’s contact block, sent under your studio’s name with replies going to your studio’s email. Walk-in sales with no customer skip it. Send receipt on the sale re-sends anytime; it needs an email on the customer’s file.
Print receipt on the sale opens the print view with a Paper size choice:
- 80mm — standard thermal receipt printers (Epson TM-T88V and similar).
- 58mm — compact thermal printers.
- 8.5 × 11 — standard paper, with a full letterhead layout.
Printing works on web, iPad, iPhone, and Android through each platform’s own print dialog — pick the receipt printer there. This is REV23’s receipt; what a card terminal prints on its own paper is the separate per-location paper receipts policy.
The public receipt link
Section titled “The public receipt link”Each receipt has a public address the customer can open without an account — the full receipt, dates shown in the studio’s time zone, with its own print button — and it doesn’t expire. Only completed or refunded sales have one; an open cart has no receipt.
What’s on it
Section titled “What’s on it”Receipts name things the way you did: a discount prints under the discount’s or rule’s name, jewelry lines carry the piece, tier-covered jewelry reads as included with its tier, and refunds show with their destination and the net paid. The one thing that never prints is the register-side Check price flag — operator warnings stay on the operator’s screen.
