See Your REV23 Schedule in Your Calendar App

Add your REV23 schedule to the calendar app you already use. See bookings beside family plans, personal appointments, and other work calendars in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. You can plan your week without switching between apps.

REV23 calls this a calendar subscription. It gives your calendar app a private, read-only view of your REV23 schedule. Make booking changes in REV23; your calendar app picks them up when it refreshes. Check REV23 for last-minute changes. Events in your personal calendars do not block booking availability in REV23.

Add your REV23 schedule to a calendar app

For your own schedule, open Me → My Schedule → Calendar subscriptions or choose Subscribe to schedule from the calendar. You can include all Studios where you work or choose one Studio.

If you manage booking settings, open Settings → Booking → Calendar Subscriptions to create a link for another artist or a whole Studio. A whole-Studio link always covers one Studio. An artist link can cover all Studios or one.

Choose Add to calendar app, select the schedule, and decide whether to include customer names and services. Then use Open calendar app or Copy link to subscribe. The private link is shown only when you create or replace it, so save it before closing. You can give each link an optional name to tell your devices apart.

An artist calendar includes that person’s appointments and personal time off. A whole-Studio calendar includes appointments, unavailable time, and Studio closures at that location. Calendar names include the Cloud name, plus the artist or Studio where applicable. The subscription contains the past 30 days and the next two years of appointments; older appointments remain in REV23.

Choose what the link shares

Include customer names and services is off by default. Without it, appointments have generic names; a whole-Studio calendar can still identify the artist. Personal time off has a generic name in either mode.

With customer details on, appointments include the customer’s display name and service. They can also link back to the booking in REV23, where sign-in is required. Contact details, notes, forms, and payment details are never included. Your calendar provider and anyone holding the private link can see the details you chose, so give detailed links only to people who should have that information.

Each link keeps its schedule and privacy choice. Create a separate link if another device or person needs a different view. For example, you can keep a detailed calendar for yourself and a customer-free calendar for family.

Keep links current

Open Calendar subscriptions under My Schedule or Booking Settings to manage your links. Check a link’s scope and last fetch under Details & setup. The private URL cannot be viewed again. Set up another calendar creates a separate link with the same schedule and privacy choice without changing the original.

Replace link creates a new private URL and stops the old one for everyone using it. Remove subscription stops the link without replacing it. In either case, remove the old subscription from each calendar app too: an app may keep appointments it already downloaded.

Calendar apps choose when to fetch updates. The subscription is not a live booking alert, and changing a refresh setting does not guarantee an immediate update. REV23’s setup instructions cover Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook.

Permissions

Your own link takes Bookings → View. Creating a link for another artist or a whole Studio takes both Bookings → View (everyone) and Booking Settings → Manage. Including customer names and services also takes Customers → View; for another artist’s detailed link, that artist needs it too. See Roles & Permissions.
