Inks & Pigments
Configure the inks, pigments, and supplies used when recording tattoo, microblading, permanent makeup, and removal sessions at Settings → Inks & Pigments. These lists keep your records consistent: instead of free-typing supply names each time, you pick from a list.
The ink catalog is the shared list of inks available in your studio. Each ink has a name, base color, and manufacturer. This catalog is used when adding ink to a session and when building your personal My Ink collection.
The catalog identifies your colors; My Ink holds your bottles’ lot and batch numbers, printed expiration, opened date, and durability after opening. Recording ink in a session connects the ink and bottle details you used to that customer’s procedure.
Session suggestions draw on your usage history and prioritize colors from the same tattoo or service among those suggestions. Selecting an owned ink pre-fills its recorded lot, batch, and expiration date. Review them against your physical bottle and select Add to save the session entry. A color used in earlier work does not identify the bottle you are using today.

Colors
Section titled “Colors”Ink colors are base categories — Green, Red, Blue, Purple, etc. — not the specific names of individual inks. The specific name goes in the ink’s Name field. When adding ink to a session, you can filter by these colors to quickly find what you need. The default list covers the standard spectrum and rarely needs to be changed.
Manufacturers
Section titled “Manufacturers”Manufacturers (brands) of inks. When searching for ink to add to a session, you can filter by manufacturer.
Disposable or autoclavable tubes that hold the needle (e.g. “1” Round Liner Tube”, “5F Flat Tube”). Only a Name field is required. When adding a tube to a session you are prompted for the lot number and expiration date for compliance tracking.
Grips attached to tattoo and PMU machines (e.g. “Disposable 1” Round Grip”, “Ergo Aluminum Grip”). Only a Name field is required. When adding a grip to a session you are prompted for the lot number and expiration date for compliance tracking.
Salves
Section titled “Salves”Ointments, topical anesthetics, and aftercare products applied during the procedure (e.g. “Aquaphor”, “A&D Ointment”, “Hustle Butter”, “Dr. Numb”). Only a Name field is required.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Editing these catalogs takes Ink & Pigments → Manage — included in the Manager role and granted with the Tattoo, PMU, and Microblading skills. See Roles & Permissions.
