Booking Links & Invites

Two kinds of links let customers book. They look similar and do different jobs:

  • Booking link — permanent. Your public booking page, shareable forever as a URL or QR code.
  • Booking invite (“Book with me”) — one-time. A private link for one customer to claim one pre-approved block of time. It expires, and it can only be used once.

Share booking link, available from the calendar’s create menu and the Bookings page, opens the URL and QR code. Choose whether it covers the full Cloud, one location, or one artist. Single-location and solo accounts skip choices that do not apply.

The dashboard’s Share your pages action shows QR codes for the booking, sign-in, and ideas pages without the scope options.

An artist sharing from Me or My Skills skips the chooser: the link automatically pins them. A pinned link scopes the whole flow to that artist: the customer sees “Book with [name],” the menu shows only their services, and the artist step is skipped.

An invite is for work that’s already agreed: a consultation that went well, an idea worth taking, a regular who texted “same as last time.” Instead of handing the customer the open booking page, you pre-approve the shape of the appointment and send them a link to claim a time.

Create one from an idea’s Send booking link action, from a consultation’s follow-up action, or self-service from My ScheduleBook with me. Set:

  • Service and length — the invite locks both; the customer doesn’t re-choose.
  • Deposit — use the service’s configured amount, type a custom one, or tick Waive.
  • Link expires — 7, 14, or 30 days (14 by default).

Share it however you like: copy the link, or text or email it straight from the created-link screen.

A link bound to a known customer skips identity entirely and lands on picking a time. An open link runs the normal lookup and verification first. Either way, the artist, service, and length are fixed; the customer only chooses when.

Redeeming creates the booking, collects the deposit if one is set, and closes the source idea. An expired or already-used link says so plainly and points the customer back to the studio for a fresh one. The spent invite record itself is kept 30 more days for support tracing, then deleted automatically.
