Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open REV23 Cloud. It gives you a real-time snapshot of what is happening in your studio right now — who is waiting, who is in the chair, and what needs your attention.
Dashboard Views
Section titled “Dashboard Views”The dashboard has two views, toggled with the segmented control (list/grid icons) in the top-right of the header, next to the refresh button.
- Full mode (default) — The complete dashboard with session stats, team status, waiting room, active sessions, and all the widgets described below.
- Simple mode — A streamlined, chronological list of today’s signed release forms. Tap any form to open the review dialog directly.
Your view preference is saved per device, so you can use Full mode on a back-of-house iPad and Simple mode on a front counter device. New devices default to Full mode.
Simple Mode
Section titled “Simple Mode”Simple mode is designed for studios that do not use session management — studios where staff just need to see who checked in and what they signed, without tracking sessions, wait times, or service breakdowns.
In Simple mode, forms appear in the order they were signed. Tapping a form opens the review dialog so providers can verify information and apply their signature.
The following elements appear in both views: the greeting header, Getting Started checklist, and app review prompt.
Getting Started Checklist
Section titled “Getting Started Checklist”When you first set up your studio, the dashboard displays a Getting Started checklist that guides you through the essential configuration steps — setting up your studio info, adding team members, reviewing templates, and completing your first release form. The checklist disappears once all steps are complete.
The following sections describe the widgets available in Full mode.
At the top of the dashboard, stat cards show key counts at a glance:
- In Progress — Active sessions currently being worked on.
- My Sessions — Sessions assigned to you (multi-studio environments only).
- Unassigned — Sessions that do not have a provider assigned yet.
- Finished Today — Sessions completed today.
Each card links directly to the filtered services list so you can drill in with one tap.
Team Status
Section titled “Team Status”In multi-studio environments, the Team Status widget shows which team members are working today and how many sessions each one has. This gives managers a quick view of who is busy and who is available.
Service Breakdown
Section titled “Service Breakdown”A visual chart showing how today’s active sessions break down by service category — Tattoo, Piercing, Microblading, Permanent Makeup, Removal, etc.
Waiting Room
Section titled “Waiting Room”Customers who have completed signing but have not started their session appear in the Waiting Room. Each entry shows the customer name, service type, placement, and how long they have been waiting.
When a customer has multiple sessions on the same service (e.g. five piercings in one sitting), they appear as a single row with a summary like “5 × Piercing” instead of separate entries for each session.
Services without an assigned artist display an Unassigned badge so staff can quickly identify work that needs to be claimed.
Wait times are color-coded to indicate how long a customer has been waiting.
Active Sessions
Section titled “Active Sessions”Shows sessions currently in progress with the customer name, provider, service type, and how long the session has been running.
Forms Needing Review
Section titled “Forms Needing Review”Lists release forms from the last 24 hours that have not been reviewed yet. Forms are grouped by service — if a customer has multiple forms (e.g. from multiple piercings), they appear together with a Review All option to batch-mark all forms as reviewed in one action. Tap any form to open the review dialog directly from the dashboard. See Reviewing Forms for more on the review process.
Just Completed
Section titled “Just Completed”Sessions that were completed today, shown with the customer, provider, service type, and when they finished.
New Ideas
Section titled “New Ideas”Shows recently submitted Ideas that have not been contacted yet. Each entry shows the customer name, work type (new, continuation, touch-up, cover-up), and a description snippet.
Indicators
Section titled “Indicators”Dashboard widgets display icons next to customer names to surface important information at a glance:
- Birthday — A cake icon appears when it is the customer’s birthday. Visible across the Waiting Room, Active Sessions, Forms Needing Review, and Just Completed widgets.
- Minor — A child icon appears when the customer has a guardian on file, helping staff quickly identify minors without opening the customer record.
For more on birthday features, see Birthdays.
Quick Actions
Section titled “Quick Actions”Shortcuts to common tasks:
- Share Sign Page — Get your studio’s Web Sign URL, generate a QR code, or copy the link to share with customers.
- Add a Customer — Create a new customer record.
- Start a Service — Jump to the services page.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”What you see on the dashboard depends on your permissions. For example, service widgets require read:service, the birthday section requires read:customer, and Ideas require read:lead. If you do not have permission to view certain data, those widgets are hidden.
