REV23 Account

REV23 Account is your single sign-on (SSO) account for all REV23 apps and services, similar to a Microsoft, Google, or Apple account.

It is used across REV23 products, including rev23.com, REV23 Cloud, and other REV23 applications and services.

REV23 Account is required to create a REV23 Cloud subscription and can also be used to log into your Cloud Studio.

Account Types

There are two types of users in REV23 Cloud:

• Subscription Owners Always use REV23 Account to access their Cloud Studio.

• Cloud Studio Users / Guest Users May log in using either REV23 Account or a local username and password stored securely in the Cloud Studio database.

Logging In

When logging into the app, you will see two login options:

• Log in with REV23 Account
• Log in with Username/Password

Caution

If you have a REV23 Account, you must use the Log in with REV23 Account button. Entering your REV23 Account email and password into the Username/Password fields will not work.

Make sure to choose the correct login method based on your account type.

Benefits of Using REV23 Account

Using a REV23 Account provides several advantages:

• Single Sign-On (SSO) Access all REV23 apps and services with one account, without repeatedly logging in.

• Easy Cloud Studio Switching If you are a guest or user in multiple Cloud Studios, you can switch between them without re-entering credentials.

• Improved Security REV23 Account uses modern authentication standards, providing stronger security than traditional username/password logins.

• Consistent Experience The same login experience across all REV23 apps and services.

Guest Artists / Users

A user (i.e. an artist/piercer) can link their REV23 Account to an existing Cloud Studio user account to gain the benefits of SSO.

To enable this:

• The email address on the Cloud Studio user account must match the user’s REV23 Account email.
• No manual linking is required.

The first time the user logs in using Log in with REV23 Account, their accounts are automatically linked and they are added as a guest user to the Cloud Studio.

If the email addresses do not match, the accounts cannot be linked automatically.

Note

REV23 Accounts are intended for subscription owners and service providers. Studio staff who do not perform services (counter staff, managers) do not need a REV23 Account and should use Studio Accounts instead.
