Jewelry

Configure the jewelry properties used when recording supplies on piercing and adornment sessions. These lists ensure consistency across your studio — instead of free-typing jewelry details each time, you select from pre-configured options.

When you add jewelry to a piercing session, you build it from these properties: pick a gauge, length, jewelry type, material, manufacturer, and optionally gem settings. This data is recorded on the session and can be included on the generated release form PDF if Print Supplies Used is enabled.

REV23 suggests posts based on jewelry previously used for that piercing type, making it easy to select the right size and style for common piercings.

REV23 comes with common values pre-loaded for most of these lists. You can add, remove, or reorder them to match your studio’s inventory.

The wire gauge of the jewelry (e.g. 20g, 18g, 16g, 14g, 12g). This list can be reordered by dragging and dropping on both iOS and the web app.

The size of the jewelry — lengths for barbells (e.g. 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”) and inner diameters for rings. This list can be reordered by dragging and dropping.

The style of jewelry — e.g. Labret Stud, Curved Barbell, Captive Bead Ring, Circular Barbell, Nostril Screw, Clicker.

The material the jewelry is made from — e.g. Implant Grade Titanium, Surgical Steel, Niobium, 14k Gold, 18k Gold.

The brand or manufacturer of the jewelry — e.g. Anatometal, Industrial Strength, NeoMetal, BVLA, Junipurr.

The type of gem setting — e.g. Prong, Bezel, Channel, Flush.

The color of the gem. Supports an Abbreviation field for quick lookup using manufacturer color codes (e.g. “AB” for Aurora Borealis).

The permissions for editing these lists are controlled by the Jewelry Config permission set. See Permissions for details.
